Michael's Furniture Review - Teresa from Los Angeles

"I was recently in the market for a new bedroom suite. The cheap IKEA stuff just wasn't cutting it anymore... time for some grown-up furniture. ;-)

A co-worker suggested I at least stop by Michael's to view their enormous warehouse of merchandise. She boasted that they have something for everyone, plus they are a family owned business, which if you know me then you know that is something I love. She also mentioned that their prices are unbeatable and that they are willing to negotiate to make a sale. Sooooo we ventured to the Valley one sunny Saturday to see what Michael's is all about.

Getting there was a little tricky, but we found it. To our surprise the pink bunny and the mattress man in their ad were both there to greet us as we browsed their huge selection. Yes, it is true... HUGE selection. After much browsing we had our eye on a mid-color wood grain bed set that ran $1,300 for 3 pieces. This was a little out of our price range due to the fact that we had just spent a ton of money on moving expenses. We were able to talk them down to $1,100 and the deal was done. It was true... they were really willing to negotiate to make the sale and boy were we happy about this. We were able to get a bed frame, dresser and night stand all within our price range. I was one happy camper. The only down side to our experience came a few weeks later when our merchandise was ready to be delivered. We came to find out that our night stand was currently out of stock at their warehouse. Bummer. BUT it would be available around 3 weeks later - problem solved!

All in all we had a good experience here - we left with what we came for and are happy with the final product."
